Katherine is the admin whiz at SVSR. She works on payroll, accounts receivable, ad hoc admin, website updates… whatever the team needs, Katherine is onto it. It’s her attention to detail that makes her so good at her job.
But for Katherine, the people she works with at SVSR are what drive her every day.
“The people make this job. They are great to work with. It’s a good team. Everybody gets on together.”
Katherine started at SVSR in 2014… prior to that she had worked in the city as a legal secretary and then as the office manager at Liverpool General Cemetery. While she misses the fast pace of the city, the work she does at SVSR is challenging and rewarding.
“No two days are the same – it changes all the time. Watching the company moving into different areas that we haven’t done before is exciting. I’ve got three daughters so the opportunity to be close to home and with flexible hours is perfect. I enjoy having something different to learn, something I’ve never experienced before.”
As a mum of three daughters, her weekends are spent running the kids around to activities – physie, drama, swimming, little athletics. Katherine is also on the committee for the little athletics club, where she maintains the website and uses her other passion of photography to take the club photos.
While we’ve long specialised in leading sewer vent solutions for regional councils in New South Wales and Victoria, sewer vents aren’t our only service. Chris Antoun, SVSR Operations & Compliance Manager, recently oversaw a project for a Townsville sewer pump station, that involved customising our induct vent cowls to meet local council specifications. The result was a quality vent cowl solution… and a very satisfied client.
