SVSR is delighted to introduce our new General Manager, Tony Jankovic, an exceptional manufacturing professional with over 25 years’ experience across the building, infrastructure and architectural sectors.
Tony has led several multinational and national companies and he looks forward to building on our niche capability in sewer vent solutions – and moving SVSR in exciting new directions.
“SVSR is smaller than some companies I’ve worked for, but I see huge potential for growth. I’m looking to build on our significant expertise in sewer vent fabrication and installation, and our crane hire, to provide a wider range of services from our expert team.”
Introducing Tony Jankovic
Tony joined SVSR in late June, replacing our long serving General Manager, Robin Adams, who is changing direction.
With extensive experience managing very large companies, Tony began building his industry knowledge from a young age and has broad skills across operations and production management, commercial, operational planning and relationship building.
“I completed a university degree in commerce and business management and I was fortunate to be given an opportunity at a young age to run a manufacturing plant with a staff of 180.
I was 23 and overseeing staff who were my father’s and grandfather’s ages. I gained a lot of experience in manufacturing from the onset… and that’s where my career kicked off.”
Working with SVSR Managing Director, Kylie Ridding, Tony will take ownership of our daily operations – including overseeing our manufacturing, marketing and project installation. He will also focus on future directions.
Future directions for SVSR
SVSR has provided expert sewer vent, vent cowl and odour filter design, fabrication and installation services for Sydney Water, regional councils and commercial clients for close to 30 years. Tony believes we are perfectly positioned to build on that expertise and expand our services in new directions – including specialist fabrication for diverse industry sectors.
“In every business, I like to have a clear vision of where we will be in five or 10 years and I do that by looking for opportunities to capitalise on our capability. One area we will look to expand in is fabrication, as we have the skills and team to diversify our product for multiple industries.”
Our current services will remain so that we can continue to provide expert sewer vent products and services for our current clients. We will make improvements where possible to fine tune our service delivery and we will expand our team.
“We do have good internal systems in place, but I hope to enhance those where possible and to grow the business from a managerial front, including adding new staff as our services grow.”
